Dr. Görgülü was born in Konya, in 1979.
In 1997, he showed very successful performance in University Entrance Examinations and started to study in the Medical Faculty of Istanbul University.
After an accomplished medical education, he graduated from faculty and started his specialty at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital in 2004.
He was skilled in microsurgery, laser therapy, rhinoplasty, maxillofacial distraction, hair transplant, breast surgery and a good many issues during his challenging residency.
He also got the chance to study on breast reconstruction after breast cancer with Peter Corderio in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Hospital and with well-known plastic surgeons such as Charles H. Thorne, Sherrel Aston, Joseph J. McCarthy, Court B. Cutting in New York University in the recent year before majoring in plastic surgery.
He started to work as a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon at Karadeniz Ereğli State Hospital in 2010.
In 2013, he started his academic career as an assistant professor in Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Medicine Faculty, and had an inspiring effect on lots of students and residents.
He was qualified as a fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and rewarded with the Europe quality recognition after successfully passing 2-steps examinations.
In November, 2017 he succeeded in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery seniority and received the title of Associate Professor.
He regularly attends various national and international conferences, congresses and courses for updating and improving on his actual plastic surgery skills.
Dr. Görgülü applied several new operative techniques and approaches on different aesthetic operations and has many medical articles in the national and international journals.
He still improves his surgical methods and performs a lot of successful operations.
Novel approaches and innovations for some plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery operations are currently devised by Dr. Görgülü and he obtained patent rights.
He is a member of Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, National Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery, European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and also American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
